SISTEM INFORMASI PEMBERIAN BANTUAN TERNAK(SIPBT) PADA DINAS PETERNAKAN SULAWESI SELATAN

Abstract

Admission of new student candidates to Makassar STMIK Professional is program that is run every year by the institution, one of the references to its success is the percentage of the target number of applicants or new students absorbed. This is obstcale due to fluctuations in the number of hew candidates predicted based on previous year’s data with variousfactors include location/residence of propective applicants, social status, the development of campuses as competitors(competitors), promotion models and the interest of high school graduates to continue their education to tertiary level. Linier Regression forecasting methods or predictions are used to measureor interpret future conditions. The need for forcasting is increasing in line with the company’s desire to provide a fast and appropriate response to opportunities in the future, and to become more scientific in dealing with the environment. The research was made assist in predicting the number of prospective new students who will register in the next academic year period. Where the results obtained are only in the form of estimates based on data within a certain period. The factor of the amount of data processed will determine the level of accuracy of the results in calculating predictions using linear regression. The more data the pattern produced will be closer to the actual value.
